When it comes to the ever-evolving world of social media, Tik Tok has managed to rise as what appears to be the next-big-thing of social platforms.

Most popular in the 16 to 24 age demographic and still relatively new, it has still been a puzzle that news outlets have yet to completely figure out but will be sure to be a major player in the media world down in the coming year and probably months.

As such, I took to the Tik Tok world in search of examples of how news outlets are testing the waters of the newest buzz-worthy app, and after seeing a few examples (to see the Tik Toks I found click here), I decided to jump in myself.

My Tik Tok centered around the ongoing legal battles in various states set forth by President Donald Trump and his supporters as he looks for a way to try and reverse the outcome of the 2020 election that saw President-elect Joe Biden win the nomination.

In my Tik Tok, I provided a brief overview of some of the claims that Trump has made about the election, and I also provided a could of updates on a few of the cases that have already been decided.

In my Tik Tok, I included a quote written by chief judge Timothy M. Kenny of Wayne County Circuit Court in Michigan. He rejected a request by supporters of Trump to block certification of votes in Detroit.

“It would be an unprecedented exercise of judicial activism for this court to stop the certification process of the Wayne County Board of Canvassers,” Kenny said.

Here is my Tik Tok:
